The Star Flyer was in St Andrew Square during the Christmas and Hogmanay shenanigans in 2013/14. It stands 58m high, but doesn't start it's full speed spin until it tops out over the surrounding buildings - otherwise it would splatter it's customers against the stonework. The views are fantastic from up there - if you're brave enough to look!
